About Indigo Legacy

Inspired by the history of indigo dyeing culture in Northern Vietnam’s ethnic minorities, our organisation is bound to tell the story of the long-lasting legacy and values, passing down from generations to generations. It is not only the untold story of indigo dyeing that we want to share with our audiences, we also aim to make impacts through promoting the use of indigo dyeing in sustainable sourcing, procurement, and innovation. The Indigo Legacy, or “Nhúng chàm” is a seven-day exhibition incorporating highlight events such as an opening ceremony, workshops, and talk shows, which fuel the curiosity and interaction between our target audience and art, crafts, and the culture behind. With the mesmerising colour of indigo overflowing in a gallery environment, we promise to deliver authentic stories, sustainable values, and inspiration among art enthusiasts.
